Cette board occupe une place privilégiée dans la gamme North depuis plusieurs années déjà. Elle est le résultat d’un travail de développement continuel et d’ajustements précis du shape et de la construction. Comme Jaime Herraiz, cette board est devenue une légende.

Cette année la Jaime surprend avec une nouvelle construction de la carène qui inclue désormais un double concave en V.
Les performances globales de la Jaime change peu et cela reste une planche orientée Freeride/Newschool. Son départ au planning précoce, son confort et sa vivacité restent ses qualités principales. Le « Responsive Center Flex » légèrement plus rigide couplé aux extrémités plus souples procure une excellente accroche et un pop massif pour les manœuvres techniques et les sauts. Smooth et confortable, la Jaime absorbe le clapot où le double concave fait des merveilles et apporte une grande stabilité directionnelle. Il autorise également des réceptions plus douces, plus propres et une excellente réaccélération. La board haute performance stylée et polyvalente pour toutes les conditions.

WAM : la board à tout faire haute performance !
La WAM est la surfboard que l'on devrait toujours avoir dans son sac. Elle s'adapte à toutes les conditions, des petites vagues onshore aux monstres des riffbreaks. Les capacités d'adaptation aux conditions de ride font de la WAM la board parfaite pour les trips en voyage et c'est la solution idéale pour ceux qui ne veulent partir qu'avec une seule board. Le comportement de la planche est hypersmooth tout en procurant d'excellentes sensations et une bonne vivacité. Le shape spécial du rail et l'outline large offre à cette planche contrôle et accroche même à grande vitesse. The standard free-ride setting offers everything you would expect from a free-ride kite like loads of de-power, responsive steering and predictable handling. La Rebel tient sa renommée à son potentiel de dépower mobilisable sur une faible course de bordé/choqué, son retour en barre excellent, ainsi que sa facilité à initier les changements de cap même sous toilé. Et cette année n'est pas une exception !

Une fois encore, l’absence totale de flappement au niveau des oreilles a contribué grandement à améliorer la stabilité, la douceur et la maniabilité de l’aile. Cette capacité à gérer les virages en douceur, alliée à un profil de la canopy optimisée pour empêcher toute inversion ( backstall ), en font une arme redoutable dans le surf.

the future of 4 line performance. The Fuse is a different
kind of free-ride / wave kite with a huge wind range, light,
predictable feel and great jumping qualities. Its unique and
simple Attack Control Bridle gives the Fuse smooth, reactive
steering that is especially evident when de-powered, making
it a huge step forward in terms of manoeuvrability and
directness on 4 lines. Additionally, the new AC Bridle gives
you the ability to safely and completely de-power the Fuse
on its back similar to a 5 line system. Easily accessible lowend
power and extreme resistance to back-stalling gives the
Fuse great light wind capabilities while the AC Bridle ensures
direct de-power and a crisp bar feeling even in strong

Enter the Dyno. This is the light-wind kite. It offers parked power similar to a parafoil together with superior dynamic power, better depower, more nuanced bar feel, better turning speed and superior safety (owing to inflatable elements). A versatile kite that will fly on either four lines or five, it has superior performance and handling, light winds and lulls are handled with ease.

Low weight is clearly the Dyno's main feature. To get it, several steps have been taken. The Lazy Pump inflation system was eliminated because single-point inflation of course adds weight. Thinner bladder material and a lighter Dacron have been used in the inflatable elements. Two extra segments are put in the arc between the quarter ribs, which produced a slightly truer aerofoil in the center lifting area. Construction details that contribute crucially to function and durability remain, others were eliminated.

As a result, the 18-meter Dyno flys in winds that are barely perceptible.

Finally, the waiting is over. After two years of R&D, North Kiteboarding introduces a new school kite – the BUZZ.
The Buzz meets all the requirements of beginners. Briskly pulling the bar does not immediately result in a jump over the dunes. When the kite lands on the water or on the ground, relaunch requires no active intervention from the rider. Instead, its auto-relaunch makes it crawl to the edge of the wind window where it waits for a launching impulse from the pilot. Large Dacron surfaces, Kevlar reinforcements and a new strut construction protect the kite in the rough environment of kite schools.
The Buzz has a very wide wind range and is able to water relaunch at only a few Beaufort. The simple four-line bar also contributes to making the introduction to kiteboarding safe and easy as never be

Le compagnon fidèle de milliers d’élèves jouit d’une grosse popularité et ce, même après la fin de la période d’apprentissage. La Buzz réunit toutes les exigences qu’un débutant attend de son aile de kitesurf et même plus. Par exemple, une pression trop brusque sur la barre n’est pas immédiatement sanctionnée avec un vol au dessus des dunes. Grâce à l’auto-relaunch incorporé, la Buzz glisse doucement en bord de fenêtre où elle l’attend sur une oreille sans aucune traction, l’impulsion de décollage de l’élève. En adéquation avec les exigences de robustesse des ailes-écoles, la Buzz dispose d’une construction des lattes éprouvée, de larges pièces de dacron et de gros renforts en kevlar.

La Buzz couvre une grande plage de vent et redécolle facilement par vent faible. La barre 4 lignes simple et efficace rend les premiers pas et l’apprentissage du sport facile et sûr!

North Trainer Kites are available in two different sizes. The Lizard 1.8 and the Lizard 2.5 offer a safe and enjoyable way for beginners to learn the basics of the sport.

The Ram Air Construction makes the trainer kites very durable and easy to handle. The new internal construction supports the cross spots and make the kites bullet proof. The kite’s exact and direct reaction to steering impulses helps newcomers to acquire all the flying know-how necessary for kiteboarding. The two line kites are supplied with a 50 cm wide, rubber coated aluminum bar. Just like the original North Scepter bar, it has winding posts for fast and tangle-free winding. Les kites d’entraînement de North sont disponibles en deux tailles. Le Lizard 1,8 et le Lizard 2,5 permettent aux débutants de s’initier aux joies de ce sport en toute sécurité. Leur construction Ram Air rend les kites d’entraînement très résistants et très faciles à manier pour une première utilisation. Les Crossports ont été renforcés dans la nouvelle construction interne des caissons rendant ainsi ce kite quasi indestructible.
Le pilotage est précis et direct, ce qui permet aux débutants d’acquérir facilement le savoir-faire nécessaire pour la pratique du kitesurf. Ces ailes 2 lignes sont fournies avec une barre en aluminium de 50 cm dotée d’un revêtement en caoutchouc. Tout comme la barre Trust Quad Control de North, elle possède des enrouleurs pour un enroulement sans que les lignes ne s’emmêlent. Avantages: les ailes Ram Air sont rapidement gréées et prennent très peu de place une fois pliée.
