Ocean Vagabond Hotel – an exceptional day experience in Lassarga
I truly loved spending the day at Ocean Vagabond Hotel in Lassarga, a stunning place located at the very southern tip of the Dakhla peninsula. From the moment you arrive, you can feel a special, relaxed and high-quality vibe throughout the entire property.
The areas around the restaurant, chill-out zones, sea views, shop and surf shop are beautifully designed, very well maintained and feel premium without being pretentious. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive and genuinely committed to delivering great service.
We enjoyed the lunch buffet, which was by far the best food we have had in Morocco so far – outstanding quality and flavor. While the venue is on the higher-priced side, the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair.
In the afternoon, we had a fantastic surf session using equipment rented from the surf shop. The equipment was excellent, and the surf spot itself is truly fantastic and highly recommended. A special mention goes to the surf shop team – their service truly rounded off the entire experience. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and warm. When we left, they said “hope to see you again, Inshallah” — and we sincerely send exactly the same words back.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would have loved to stay as hotel guests. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked – hopefully we can make up for that next time.
